Ways to Give
Generosity has always been at the heart of Triform. The support of individuals, families, foundations, businesses, and community partners helps sustain the people, programs, places, and experiences that make this distinctive community possible.
Every gift helps create opportunities for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to discover their capabilities, develop meaningful skills, build lasting relationships, and experience lives of purpose, contribution, and belonging.
There are many ways to support Triform — from making an annual gift to giving through stock or your IRA, or including Triform in your estate plans. However you choose to give, your generosity strengthens Triform today and helps ensure this remarkable community continues to thrive for generations to come.
To discuss the giving option that is right for you, please contact Marca Cary, Development Director at marcia@triform.org or 518.851.9320 ext. 113

A gift of appreciated stock or other publicly traded securities can be a tax-efficient way to support Triform.
When securities that have appreciated in value are donated directly to a qualified charitable organization, donors may be eligible for a charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities and may avoid capital gains tax that could otherwise be due if the securities were sold first.

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a tax-advantaged gift directly from your IRA to Triform through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD).
A QCD may count toward all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), if applicable, while the eligible distribution is generally excluded from your taxable income.
For 2026, individuals may make QCDs of up to $111,000 annually. Because QCD rules and annual limits can change, we encourage you to consult with your financial or tax advisor about your individual circumstances.
To make a QCD to Triform, contact your IRA administrator and request that the distribution be made directly to Triform Camphill Community. Please let us know that your gift is coming so that we can properly acknowledge your generosity.
-
If you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to Triform Camphill Community through your fund administrator.
DAFs can provide a convenient way to organize your charitable giving and support Triform with assets you have already designated for charitable purposes. When recommending your grant, please request that your name and contact information be included so that we can acknowledge your generosity.
-
Your gift to Triform may be eligible for a matching contribution from your employer, potentially doubling or even tripling its impact.
Many companies match charitable gifts made by employees and, in some cases, spouses and retirees. Check with your employer's Human Resources department or matching gift program to determine whether Triform is eligible and how to submit your request.
-
A pledge allows you to make a meaningful commitment to Triform today and fulfill your gift over a period of time.
Depending on the purpose of your gift, pledges may be paid monthly, quarterly, annually or according to another agreed-upon schedule.
Please contact Marcia Cary, Director of Development to discuss establishing a pledge at marcia@triform.org or 518.851.9320 ext. 113

A planned gift allows you to provide for the people you love while also remembering the communities and causes that have been meaningful in your life.
One of the simplest ways to create a lasting legacy at Triform is to include Triform Camphill Community in your will or revocable living trust. You may leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, particular assets, or a portion of what remains after providing for your loved ones.
You may also name Triform as a beneficiary of an IRA or other retirement account, life insurance policy, or other financial account.
Because these gifts generally take effect in the future, you retain control of your assets during your lifetime and may change your plans if your circumstances change.
The Triform Legacy Society recognizes those who have made a commitment to Triform's future by including Triform in their will, trust or other estate plans.
If you have already included Triform in your plans, we hope you will let us know. You do not need to disclose the amount of your gift or provide detailed financial information.
Sharing your intentions simply gives us an opportunity to thank you and, where appropriate, better understand how you would like your future gift to support Triform.
-
Certain charitable arrangements, including charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts, may allow you to make a meaningful gift while providing income to you or another beneficiary.
Because these arrangements involve important financial, estate and tax considerations, we encourage you to consult with your legal and financial advisors and Triform before establishing a life income gift.
-
Life insurance can also provide an opportunity to make a significant future gift to Triform.
You may name Triform as a full or partial beneficiary of an existing policy or, in certain circumstances, transfer ownership of a policy to Triform. Your insurance, legal and financial advisors can help you determine whether this approach is appropriate for your circumstances.
